The "fire pot" or also "Dutch Oven" was of enormous importance in earlier centuries. The cast iron pots were very popular among colonists and settlers because of their versatility and durability. Over time, the look of Dutch Ovens changed. Today, they are once again very popular with outdoor enthusiasts and barbecue lovers.
